Essays on Architecture is a series of essays exploring the social, cultural, and experiential dimensions of architecture.

Through architectural criticism, theoretical reflection, and historical analysis, the series brings together questions of perception, comfort, context, memory, and the role of architecture in contemporary society. Written for Dam & Partners Architects, the essays examine how buildings are experienced, how they relate to their surroundings, and how architectural quality can be understood beyond questions of style and representation.

The work examines architecture as a lived and embodied experience, questioning the dominance of spectacle, image-making, and iconicity in contemporary practice. Across a range of topics, the essays advocate for an architecture grounded in use, atmosphere, context, and human experience.

The outcome takes the form of a series of published essays, contributing to the public and professional discourse on architecture and reflecting an ongoing interest in narrative, perception, and the relationship between people and place.
